How to stop the Agent from generating?

Don't type "stop." The agent can't read new messages while it's generating, so a chat message won't interrupt it.

Find the Stop button. While a generation is in progress, the Send button in the agent chat is replaced by a Stop button (⏹).

Stop button in the chat: While the agent is responding, the Send button becomes a Stop button. Click it to interrupt.

You can also stop the generation by looking through the Agent chat and click the Stop button directly from there.

⚠️ Note: Stopping generations

Stopping a job before the Agent sends it to our servers uses no credits for that generation. Once the progress bar appears and the asset shows “Creating”, you can still stop it so it doesn’t appear on your Canvas, but the credits for that generation are already used.
